THE SKIN ACADEMY   Many of our Paul Mitchell Schools are proud to present the Skin Academy Department, which offers state-required courses to become a licensed skin care therapist. Classes are held in a state-of-the-art facility providing a real-life environment, allowing Future Professionals to perfect their skills in realistic surroundings on real people. Developed in alliance with the International Dermal Institute, the Skin Academy Department’s advanced training system focuses on personalized attention. This unique program brings a new depth of understanding and knowledge of classical professional techniques, such as international skin treatments, speed waxing, customized treatment protocols, skin analysis, ingredient technology, makeup techniques, and prescriptive retailing. Classes also include professional workshops where Future Professionals both give and receive treatments, as well as a full range of business management classes.
